China import and export, 7 months of 2023

China's foreign trade turnover in the first 7 months of 2023 amounted to 3.4 trillion dollars, 6.1% less than in January-July last year.

At the same time, Chinese exports for the first 7 months of 2023 decreased by 5% to $ 1.94 trillion. Imports also decreased – by 7.6% to $1.46 trillion.

According to the Main Customs Administration of the People's Republic of China, in July, compared with the same indicator last year, China's foreign trade turnover decreased by 13.6% and amounted to $ 483 billion.

According to the results of the reporting month, exports fell by 14.5% and amounted to $281.8 billion. Imports to China decreased by 12.4% to 201.2 billion dollars compared to the level of July 2022.
