According to the results of the II quarter of 2023, the health index of Russian business in the field of e-commerce increased by 6% year-on-year, according to an analytical report prepared by the Calltouch platform, Tochka Bank, an online recruiting platform HH.ru .
Microenterprises feel the best in the small business segment. Their "health index" was 53 points, which is 12% more compared to the same period last year. The situation is somewhat worse for medium–sized companies: their "health index" has decreased by 11 to 39 points.
The increase in the volume of online commerce and the gradual "flow" of sales from offline to online platforms is a steady trend in recent years. According to forecasts, by the end of the year, sales in the e-commerce niche will reach 7.4 trillion rubles. In the second quarter of 2023, the turnover of SMEs in the field of online commerce increased by 63%, which is largely due to the rapid development of marketplaces and their popularity among the population.
The explosive growth of e-commerce in recent years has been explained by the attraction of new users.
